University of Bologna offers a grant for students with economic difficulties due to the emergency Covid-19.
The city of Bologna supports subsidised rent.
Emilia Romagna region has presented a financial plan for rents, dedicated also to students of the University of Bologna: italian, citizens, EU citizens and non-EU citizens with resident permit.
SAIS office will be closed to protect users' health. Service remains available online.
However, since we have received a lot of requests, there could be long waiting times.
Please, note that the office SAIS/Bussola will be closed until May, 15th.

Coronavirus: What to do with the rent
Dear users,
many of you are emailing us to ask what to do with the lease during this emergency.
Currently, no decree about lease for residential use was launched. Therefore we advise you all to respect the contract conditions. In case you have other agreements, both parties (landords and tenants) must undersign them. For instance, if the tenant would close the contract in advance comparing to the withdrawal notice, the landlord (and possibly the other tenants) should agree with it.
The are no indication about taxes suspensions for lease contracts for residential use for landlords.
